History

Daytona is part of a Group formed in the early 1950’s. The Group’s representatives have experience in operating many different types of ships ranging from tween-deckers, MPPs and Liberties to Capesize, VLCC’s, smaller tankers, LPGs, LNGs and Tug Boats or offshore supply vessels and have an established presence in both the tanker and dry bulk sectors as well as other niche sectors.

The Group has built an excellent relationship with Cargo Owners, Traders, Ship Owners, Charterers, Brokers, Insurance companies and the Banking community, maintaining a truly first-class record over the years.

The Group has also managed newbuilding and conversion projects in various shipyards around the world, establishing a very trustworthy reputation coupled with deep technical expertise.
